The King to honor brother Maurice Petty, Almirola Running Special Scheme at Martinsville

Richard Petty Motorsports is changing things up this weekend, announcing that driver Aric Almirola will have a number and paint scheme change this weekend at Martinsville. To honor The King's brother, Maurice Petty, getting into the NASCAR Hall of Fame 2014 Class, Aric Almirola will run the #41 Petty Blue Ford Fusion (instead of the #43), which is the number that Maurice used to run when he raced back in the day. NASCAR approved the number change this afternoon, making it the second car this year to undergo a number change. The first was Michael Waltrip in the Daytona 500, running for Swan Racing who changed the car number from 30 to 26 to honor the Newtown, Connecticut shooting victims.
